The Heritage of Our Building

Designed and built in the late 1800's, the Branch Office building is a beautiful Heritage building designed by Peter Mills, a prolific and respected architect of his time.

Peter Mills designed and constructed a great number of character buildings in Launceston between 1864 and 1882, including Launceston's Town Hall, Cornwall Insurance Office, the Commercial Bank Building and Fawns Block.

Our building is particularly special, having 3 statues that overlook, and protect our building, they are Diana (the Roman goddess of the hunt, the moon and nature), Venus (the Roman goddess of love) and Fortuna (the Roman goddess of fortune).

The Branch Office building is now home to many local, state, national and international businesses such as McArthur Financial, Amelia Espresso, Cormiston Legal, Jaws and ANL.
